My skin is always dry and itchy, how can I get rid of that and give my skin a smooth, silky finish?

I use Eucerin Daily Replenishing Lotion and it's not doing too too much to help out my skin right now. Anyone have any suggestions?

use Eucerin Plus body cream, it works a lot better. if it doesnt go away after that, you probably have a condition/infection.

btw, apricot scrub is BAD.

Use Aveeno, or Keri lotion
Reply:You might have psoriasis, might want to go see a dermatoligist.
Reply:use sand paper to smooth your skin
Reply:scrub with a loofah
Reply:I normally use jergens natural glow shimmer lotion it conditions skin very well and leaves a silky smooth texture. With a bit of sparkle for an extra touch!
Reply:I'd agree and maybe go see a doctor if it is really bad.

There are siimple ways too:

exfoliate with a loofah in the shower and apricot scrub is good for your face to exfoliate too.
Reply:Jergens for Extra Dry skin is really effective.

Put it on right before you go to sleep. If it's your hands/arms or feet that are dry, then wash them with soap and water, dry, then apply the lotion and then wear socks (yes, even on your arms), and go to sleep. It keeps the moisture in your skin for the whole night. And of course you can keep using the lotion through the day, but make sure you do the night routine.
Reply:I have that same problem at times, plus I have very sensitive skin. And I have tried just about everything. But I think I finally found the right products.

Recently I bought Dial's "Clean %26amp; Soft" liquid shower soap in "White Tea %26amp; Vitamin E Pearls". Oh what a difference! No rash, no dry itchy skin, and no redness! I feel soft and moisturized (without feeling greasy) and it lasts long. I don't even need to use much of my moisturizer.

And for a moisturizer, I use Aveeno Lotion. It's the best, long lasting moisturizer I ever tried! Even after I do dishes, my hands and arms still feel soft. (I really get into doing dishes! :p~~~) I use that where ever I need to, or all over as needed.

Hope that helps!
Reply:I get that too, sometimes, but mostly because I'm shaving. Before you shave, soak your legs in warm water for about 10 minutes. This makes the course hair soften a little so that they're easier to shave and that you don't have to push down hard, which can realllyyyyy irritate your skin! After you shave, pat the skin dry [don't rub!] and apply some medicated lotion right away! I suggest Aveno! Once your legs stop getting so itchy, try a splash of baby oil after the shower instead. That'll give you that sheen look that you're going for. Good luck!
