How should I wear my hair to a pool party? (10 points to best answer!)?

I don't like ponytails, braids or buns so how should I wear my hair down? And what kind of make-up would be good to wear to a pool party, %26amp; I AM GETTING IN THE WATER! The party is also at night time. Its a guys party and do guys like when girls have fun and get there hair wet or do they like when the keep there head above the water the whole time?

HAIR: soft curls/ wavy


MAKEUP: go for a natural look: brown mascara, brown eyeliner (not too thick), bronze eyeshadow with some pink just under the brow (light pink/sparkly light pink) and get water proof. (or dont wear any)


ACTIONS: guys like it when girls have fun in the pool and going under the water, throwing ur hair outta ur face is extremelllyy sexy and when you stand outta the water slowly and look sexy and tanned it looks really good.

Reply:guys deffinently dont like when you just sit there worrying about your hair. you should probably just wear it half up, then its still down, but kindof out of your face. they have waterproof mascara and eyeliner, but i find it doesnt work that well and makes my eyelashes weak and break sometimes

waterproof mascara tends to run anyways if you're under water.
Reply:Thats kinda tricky. You could just do a cute style wearing it down. But once you get out of that pool and your hair dries, its usually pretty bad. you have to comb it out or else it gets all tangled up. Some girls go into the pool but dont wanna get their hair wet for that exact reason. lmao if u wanna let ur hair down but dont wanna get it wet. I suggest a bathing cap! lol jk. well anyway. I think guys like it when girls actually GET into the pool because its a pool party and who wants to invite someone who doesnt wanna be in the pool and get wet? ;) as far as makeup I would go simple, I wouldn't plaster a whole load of makeup on my face because its just a party. Its not a formal event or anything, so I dont think thier gonna expect u to look all diva-ish lol. and wear it AFTER u get out of the pool. just my input :D
Reply:if i were you i would wash %26amp; braid my hair the night before to make it all wavey %26amp; messy until you get in the water (my boyfriend LOVES this.)





unless you wanna walk around looking like a racoon, you should reallllyyy use waterproof mascara and an eyeliner pencil. You should wear light eyeshadow too...like lilac or white. It will really light up your face!!





Don't keep your head above the water...guys will think that your being conceited. Don't be afraid to mess yourself up and show everybody that you're just there to have fun =]
Reply:Um, your getting in the water. Does it even matter? You DONT WEAR MAKEUP IN THE POOL and its impossible to keep your head dry the entire time.
Reply:Wear your down as you like. Get it wet, because it makes you seem kind of prissy and even a little conceited to be so obvious about not getting it wet. I have three sons, trust me on this one thing...they like girls who play and have fun in the pool...Guys are really attracted most to girls who don't seem to need to wear makeup. I wouldn't wear makeup to a pool party, but just wear a good waterproof lip gloss in a summery color or one that compliments your swimsuit. Save makeup for other occasions when you're dressing up, etc. Think of makeup as "polish," not a disguise.
Reply:Hair: If you wanna leave your hair down then I suggest you have it in soft bouncy curls for a beachy look and apply some sort of detangler or hair protector so your hair stays nice even when it's been in chlorine water.





Makeup: Natural, this way if/when it comes off it wont look really different. I wouldn't bother with anything fancy just the makeup essentials that suit you. If you want to wear mascara without it smudgeing or running then use waterproof, clear mascara or vaseline (trust me this works).





Guys: Guys will like it if you flirt and play around in the water with them which, yes, does include putting your head under.

Now as for actions? have fun. guys like girls who are outgoing and daring "kinda bubbly" they want a girl who's willing to have fun, someone they can relax around.





Makeup wise, i guess it depends on what you normally wear, before you go in make sure you put chapstcik on (keeps ur lips soft, while protecting from the sun.) If anything i wouldn't recommend eyeliner (AT ALL!) it will always smear. but wear waterproof mascara, just be careful about drying ur face w/ a towel, use a "blotting" motion being careful around the eyes. other than tht, if ur skin has problems than u can try a waterproof concealer.





but warning. its at night, not many people will see ur makeup, or notice the difference. i just wouldn't wear any just so i didn't have to worry about it, great hair is all you need

Reply:wear your hair down, jump in %26amp; get wet! then your hair will dry in sexy, wavy, and like victoria's secret models. im pretty sure guys love it when a girl can play hard in the pool. but dont do anything you arent comfortable with! as for makeup, just go with a light brown eyeliner so if it runs, it wont be too noticeable. if you have acne or blemishes that you dont feel comfy showing, wear foundation and just try to keep your face out of the water, but you can still dip your head back and get your hair wet! have fun, pool parties are great!!
