Do you think this makes sense?

These days, everybody's worried about staying skinny. However, lots of teenagers and kids don't LIKE to wear their warm jackets in the winter, thinking that they'll look fat, etc. (Don't argue. I'm a teenager too. It's true.) But if your body thinks you're cold, won't it store up fat and slow down your metabolism and stuff if it thinks that it needs to store energy?

What are your thoughts?
Do you think this makes sense?
ok
Do you think this makes sense?
I dont think teenager worry about that I am one and I dont and i am really self concious about my wieght.
Reply:My thoughts are im a teenager and I think it will. If i were cold, I would just wear the jacket. I wouldn't care if I looked fat or not. I just care if im warm.
Reply:Metablolism is only slowed down inside the body.. but when it comes to the outside.. it can't. On winter days, its the outside thats feels cold..so even tho the inside of the body is warm, the outside still feels cold.
Reply:yes yes the colder the temperature the slower th e metabolism becomes however fat build up will only happen if one does not use the energy we took in (eating food) when we don't use the calories that we have and the carbs/sugar in the body it will be transformed into fatty tissue which also helps in insulating the body( keeping us warm)

[lucky for me im in the philippines

Reply:I agree with you however i live in FL and it's hot 24/7/365...lol
