Am I the only one who really doesn't care if products are tested on animals?

It's not that I have anything against animals. I just really don't care if companies test their products on them.





For example, I use Cover Girl cosmetics religiously right now, and anytime I or anyone else brings up that company, someone complains about how they test on animals. And...I don't care. I mean, it makes no difference to me at all. And it doesn't make me think any less of the company.





So, does anyone else feel the same way I do? Am I the only one who thinks like this? And please, I do not want animal lovers coming on here and biting my head off. I'm just looking for honest opinions on a very controversial issue.

Reply:I agree with you. I'm not sure what the effect is when products are tested on animals, but yea it makes no difference to me. They have to test the products out on something. If they don't, the products could be harmful to people, so that's why testing it out first is essential.

Reply:i wouldn't use anything that is tested on animals at all now. i'm not like this few years ago, but ever since i have a pet myself. they going through so much pain from that. for example, the tearless shampoos, they put one drop of it onto the rabbits eye every hour and test the differences of the shampoo. imagine if someone treat you like that, you will be in so much pain dont you think. i think what we use shouldn't come form someone else's suffering.

Reply:Sure terrorists didn't make my life any different but it doesn't mean I'm going to support the bombing of innocent people.....maybe bad example but c'mon, why kill innocent animals just so we can have better lip gloss? Man people are selfish.

Reply:Sorry, I think testing on animals is animal cruelty no matter how you look at it. And I use CoverGirl makeup and if that is true guess I'll use something else, I also use Almay as well.
Reply:thats horrible! you awful person! you obviously don't have any pets. i hope someone tests leashes or dog food on you unwillingly, and i hope it causes some kind of weird mutation. maybe then you'd get how it feels. sicko. and thats the last time i use covergirl.
