Would I look good with platinum blonde hair?

I personally think platinum blonde hair, almost similar to Marilyn Monroes, maybe a bit lighter, is a very pretty color. I am a naturally brunette but I think brown is an ugly color. Do you think I would look good as a platinum blonde? Im very pale, i never tan, really. So I thought it would look okay. If not, give me some hair color ideas? I really want a change!
