Are acrylic nails worth it?

I want to get the kind you can buy at let's say Sally's... but are they worth it? Will they end up ruining my nails?

They're very hard on the natural nails. My natural nails are already weak and don't grow too long so I do mind getting the acrylic. I've been getting them for 6 years now. Good Luck!

No they are not worth it. They do not even last to long. If u really want to get ur nails done the right way go so a shop and get a full set they look better and last much longer.
Reply:I say no, but I got mine done at a salon, and im sure they messed up because they really hurt my hands, and it took a long while for me to be able to naturally grow my nails long again without them cracking and chipping.

I had them on for about a week, and they didn't ruin my natural nail. But it was only a week, so idk %26amp; that was the first time I had acrylic. Usually I get gel..


Anywayy, if you really want them, buy them. Although, if you're like, really really worried about them ruining your natural nail, go to a nail salon %26amp; get gels. They're more expensive, I think but it's way better quality. Except you have to go to get infills every few weeks.
Reply:in my opnion they are not worth it. my friend had her nails done over a number of time and now her nails are ruin.
Reply:I hate fake nails! I hate them on myself and on others! They always tear up your nails when you take 'em off and then they look nasty! It's SO NOT WORTH IT.
