I use a shaving cream by Aveeno (Positively Smooth) on both my legs and underarms, as well as a men's Mach 3 razor. It works wonders. I've always had sensitive skin and a lot of razor bumps, but since I started using this, I've never had a problem. Just try to avoid things with fragrances and whatnot, those extra chemicals can cause a reaction with sensitive skin and a lot of women's shaving products are scented.

You can also order a product called TendSkin online to treat and prevent razor bumps/ingrown hairs - I've never really needed it on my legs or underarms with my current regimen, but I always use it after I get my bikini area waxed, and it's great.
Reply:I have tried EVERY razor on the planet and the only thing I use razors for now, is to remove access lint from my clothing.......STOP USING THE RAZORS!!! There really is no good razor especially to get a good shave, you may need to go over the same spot more than once. That is where razor burn begins. And shaving against the grain gives ingrown hairs. I suggest using Veet Gel Cream for SENSITIVE SKIN. It is about $7.99 and you can use it on you legs, arms, armpits, bikini line and it doesn't have that awful stench like Nair. You apply it, wait 4 mins, and wipe it off in the shower. Also, be sure that you apply witch hazel or toner around bikini line after you use the Veet Gel Cream to ease the irritation. Easy, simple...No ingrowns or irritation
Reply:visit a dermitologist b/c you may be allergic to something and she will be able to tell you what to use and what not to. most ppl dont break out so you should get it checked out. she also may be able to prescribe you a cream that will stop the breakout so you can use normal shavers and not break out
Reply:Soap isn't good, you should know that. It dries out skin. Find something hypoallergenic if you can. Or use conditioner and a razor.
Reply:have you ever tried waxing? don't go for what other girls say, it's different for everyone. But results are great! if you are that into a trouble, you could give it a try, and who knows, maybe you'll like the way it looks! (once won't kill you)
