At what age can girls wax their eyebrows? At what age did you wax them?

I got my first wax when I was 15. I think 14 or 15 is a good age.

im a teen and dont wax them because everyone tells me that they are great looking.

Reply:Well probably 13 maybe. I didnt wax mine until I was 23-24 but my niece was being made fun of at school and we did hers and she is 11 so the kids would stop calling her names because she has really dark and thick eyebrows.
Reply:okay i know you said parents only but im 14 and my mom didnt want me plucking my eyebrows off so she took me to the salon last year(age 13) to get them waxed. and thats about the time my friends were allowed to get theres done as well

Reply:When a girl starts feeling self conscious about her eyebrows then it is fine to go get them waxed. As long as she is older than 11 then I think it is fine. Some girls really need to get them waxed though. Like my best friend, who is gorgeous now but she had these huge dark eyebrows because she is more than half Greek. She got hers done when she was 12 and it made a huge difference in her appearance and confidence! I think the best time though is to get them done when they are 13. I got mine done for the first time when I was 13.

I mean, as long as she's comfortable with doing that, and wants to, there's no problem. It's okay from the age of 12-13 or so, I suppose. Or just get a tweezers, it'd do the trick.
Reply:I started when I was 12 (I'm 28 now). Make sure she gets it done professionally.
Reply:You can wax them at birth. Age doesnt matter.
Reply:depends on how bad they are, i would say 12? the first time i got mine done i was 13. its really not that big of a deal though.
Reply:I got mine done at 14 when I was in modeling school but I think 16 is a good age. I have sons so I can't say for sure but my neighbors daughter is 15 and she just started getting hers done.

Reply:Well I'm 12 and haven't done it yet, but some of my friends have at 11 so it really just matters on when they need them and if it makes sense. Also, I would pluck them because eventually, the hairs that you always pluck will stop growing and then you wont have to pluck or wax ever again and you have the yeybrows you want without the hassle (or the price). Also, sometimes when you wax, when the hairs start growing back and they are too short to wax, and it looks really weird, so plucking is better in my opinion.
Reply:I'm not a parent but I have a 13 year old niece so I understand the issue. Teens today to a lot of things we didn't do (i.e. wearing thongs). If her eyebrows are connecting as in a unibrow, I'd say go ahead (kids can be cruel). However, it is one of those things where she wants to do it to be cool, use better judgement. I didn't wax mine until I went to college and I paid for it myself.
