well im 14, traveling alone to india to meet cousins there. Its been really long since I've been there . I went there when i was like 4, so I really dont remember anything.And Im travelling to south India.So, anytips

Reply:wear ankle length skirts and tunics. dont yell and dont point with your foot. its really hot so keep that in mind. DO NOT DRINK THE TAP WATER! dont tell strangers where you going and dont give out personal information. if your lost, pretend you know what your doing.
Reply:i'm 14 and went to india in february. watch out for the toilets on the train, bring toilet paper of your own, dont drink non-bottled water under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! ask your relatives if something is okay to eat. i know it's tough, but dont give any money to the children that run up to you and beg for money. if you give them some, others will come, and you'll be swarmed. be prepared for INSANE road conditions and traffic. be aware that people will be defecating on the side of the road, and urinating in the streets. Do not go expecting a hustling, bustling metropolis. expect a third world country, with very little technology. Expect to lose power regularly. Do not dress up when going out, as it will only attract beggars. I hope your trip is as life changing as mine.
