i did mine with a sewing needle and a piece of potato for a solid backing! its a lot easier to just go to walmart and they will do it for free if you buy your earring there!!!

Reply:Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm NOT a good idea. Instead of just sticking a needle in your ear lope yourself, with an unsteady and sweating hand from being nervous, just go get them done professionally! It's 2008 and its really cheap. They use a gun made for piercing so its quick, and I bet less pain full. Better be safe then reaaaaally sorry. Hope this helps!
Reply:I pierced my cartaliage myself and the middle of my ear and I'm 14. I just did it like in March. And there not infected.
1. First I sterilized the needle that I was goona use to pierce it. I sterilized it for 30 minutes. If you don't know what sterilizing is, its where you take rubbing alchol and put it in a cup and then you put the needle in there and it gets all the bacteria and germs off.
2. I sterlized the earring for 30 minutes also.
3. I took a marker and mad a mark of where I wanted the piercing.
4. I took out the sterilized needle and just pierced my ear.
5. I put the sterlized earring in.
6. I was done!
Just know that its going to hurt for the first week or so.
Your ear might bleed. (mine did)
Just make sure you sterlize everything.

Reply:It's really cheap to get your ears pierced - and safer to get it done by a professional!
Reply:get a friend to do it. use a peircing gun, cheap if you buy one from a beauty store. Don't use a cheap metal or your ears might not like it, therefore causing infection. Also lightly rub your peircings with rubbing alcohol. (keeps them clean and prevents infection/heals infection)
Reply:Get a normal sewing needle but be sure to burn the end of it for a few seconds to kill any bacteria off
then just shove it through
But be sure to bathe it with warm salt water everyday for a few weeks
I did mine myself and a year on it's fine :)

When you get older you will gradually lose some baby fat, and getting taller will balance you out more. But you can also try to eat more healthy, and of course, excersize.
Do you like salads? Eat them more often and ban yourself from McDonald's and other fast food places, unless you are getting a salad or grilled wrap.
Reply:Get a strength training routine. People say diet diet diet. That doesn't mean ****. You have to first have the energy to make muscles. Once you feel in shape musclewise, just keep the regular exercise routine going. The excersize will give you more energy in the long run for when you diet, and muscles eat up energy (i.e. fat) I had a 300lb friend who everyone told him hes problem was genetic, I got him out there running and lifting weights, 2 years later he is 170. Oh and get off the DAMN computer!!! JK! Thought of it after i posted this so i had to add it :-p

Reply:Well I think the white teeth part will have to wait till after you get your braces off, and once I gotmy braces off my teeth were white after the glue came off so you'll get that in time.
Try dying your hair or changing something about it. Getting it trimed makes it look nicer.
Go to a salon and get your eyebrows waxed, it lasts longer and hurts less then plucking, no joke.
Just go out in the sun a lot to get tanned and use jergens lotrion, it really works. I use it all the time.

Reply:Well I think the white teeth part will have to wait till after you get your braces off, and once I gotmy braces off my teeth were white after the glue came off so you'll get that in time.
Try dying your hair or changing something about it. Getting it trimed makes it look nicer.
Go to a salon and get your eyebrows waxed, it lasts longer and hurts less then plucking, no joke.
Just go out in the sun a lot to get tanned and use jergens lotrion, it really works. I use it all the time.

She had i beleive 3 sets of twins come on and had a make up artist make one of the twins look "ugly" napy hair, big nose, bad yellow teeth. Well to no shock the prettier twin got more attention. More people willing to help with directions and questions. It seems as if everyone was scared of the "ugly" twin, kinda like it was Contagious. This was all in all heartbreaking to watch. Even though a lot of people are like this it doesn't mean there aren't good people out there. Surround yourself with positive and Godly people and avoid people trying to take you down:)

I mix a banana and a tablespoon of honey, and a few drops of a lemon or an orange in the blender (for face. It's amazing mosterizing if you have dry skin)
Maynaise or Avacado is good for the hair.

2. For dry skin, mix one egg yolk, one teaspoon honey and a teaspoon olive oil and some vitamin E oil if you have it. Smooth on and leave on for 15 min. , rinse in lukewarm water and pat dry. If your skin is a bit dry you can put a dab or two of either olive oil, or any other light oil, or plain crisco if you want something heavier, on your moist skin after washing or a mask and your face is set without the $$ some people spend for the same look.
3. Take gram flour powder, add a pinch of turmeric powder to it and make the paste using milk cream or raw milk. Apply it on the face and wash it with lukewarm water.
4. Take milk powder and add honey to it to make a paste. Apply it on your skin and wash off after 20 minutes with lukewarm water.
5. Take wheat flour and add milk cream in it. Make a paste and apply it on the skin. It makes the skin smooth and supple and reduces the dryness.
6. Soak almonds in the water. Make a paste by adding honey to it and apply it on the skin. Leave it for at least 20 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water. It adds glow to the skin, enhances the complexion and makes the skin smooth.

How come people purposely say mean things to the people who post up pictures?
Even if the person really is pretty, there are people out there saying mean things and cussing them. I looked at that person's profile and one of them (not naming) is only 13. Like what the heck is up with that? I'm 15 and I barely swear and stuff.

Hey, everyone. I have a really great friend named Alicia, who is very unique. not only is she drop-dead gorgeous, but her eyes change colors! The colors are black, copper, emerald green, red, and violet. They change just randomly, not from a certain emotion or sunlight or whatever. She loves this quality, but it kinda scares her a little, and she wanted me to ask if there is anyone out there with color-changing eyes like hers, and how they handle it.

im 15 and i am skinny i weigh 108 lbs and i am 5 foot everyone knows me to be the bony girl. So why do i have stretch marks on my upper thighs and butt ? I cant stand them. Im not fat, or didnt have a baby so where did they come from and why?

Usually girls develop stretch marks around ages 14-16, just as a result of puberty. As a girl, your body was probably rectangular. But when you develop your "woman's body" you get curves, which naturally increases the size of your hips and butt, in a short period of time, giving you stretch marks. It's normal.
If you don't like them, most drugstores sell cream you can use to make them smaller, duller, or even go away entirely.

So, I'm going to be meeting a lot of new people this summer, especially guys. And I want to look good. I'm also going into high school this fall and I want to make heads roll and jaws drop. So here are my stats, any suggestions, tips, step by step guides on what I should do, anything will help.
Height: 5'5''
Weight: 133 lbs
Hair Color: dark brown
Eye color: Green/blue
Skin: fair
Skin Undertones: Cool
Make up usage: occassionally mascara and lip gloss, willing to use more if necessary.
Style: Don't really have one. I'm modest, not a huge fan of bright pinks, really a wild person.
Body type: Average.
I also wear my hair in a pony tail a lot, so if that's a no no, let me know. Here are some pics of me.

How do you store bar soap?
This might be silly question, but I've never really used bar soap, and I just bought a bar soap for my face (Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Complexion soap). I want to keep it by my sink because I share a shower with a housemate and we're sort of out of shelf space in there, but it just feels weird leaving it out in the open like that! Is that what I'm supposed to do, or can I put it back in the box or something?

i think for a quick easy way to make your looks stand out is 3 things!
- simple eye liner on the top lash line
- mascara! the more the better!
- and last lip gloss or balm! I always use bright pink lipstick

I'm having a bit of an identity crisis in my life about how I want to dress and stuff. I'm a gay male, almost 14, and I' kind of stuck between how I want to look, I mean, sometimes, I want a kind of androgynous, edgy look, sort of like this:

She got hers done when she was 12 and it made a huge difference in her appearance and confidence! I think the best time though is to get them done when they are 13. I got mine done for the first time when I was 13.

Yes, you can use a black liquid liner and line your top lids, winging them out at the outter corners. Also, because I am Asian (Chinese) I have noticed that as a culture, many Asians have full lips. I would suggest you using a very high gloss, sticky, weighty gloss on your lips over a bright red lipstick shade. I would skip the lipstick to avoid looking fake. Also, do your hair in a very Asian way. (Straight, blunt bangs resting on your eyebrows, high ponytails with bangs clipped or twisted on toop of the head, etc...) Also, wear a nice red/pinkish blush because many Asians also have natural coloring in their cheeks and do not need blush, as I am.

I tried everything and my armpits are still...?
i have tried shaving with a brand new Venus Embrace razor using the shaving gel...that made me brake out in pimples and you could still see hair..
so i tried a new Venus Embrace razor with water and soap...that still made me brake out in pimples and you could still see the hair...
so i tried a new cheap disposable razor with water and soap...and the same thing happened thts been happening..
i've never had a good armpit shave and im 13!
i really dont want to get waxed, it hurts to bad.
and i tried nair and veet, but they make me brake out in pimples too.

I use a shaving cream by Aveeno (Positively Smooth) on both my legs and underarms, as well as a men's Mach 3 razor. It works wonders. I've always had sensitive skin and a lot of razor bumps, but since I started using this, I've never had a problem. Just try to avoid things with fragrances and whatnot, those extra chemicals can cause a reaction with sensitive skin and a lot of women's shaving products are scented.
You can also order a product called TendSkin online to treat and prevent razor bumps/ingrown hairs - I've never really needed it on my legs or underarms with my current regimen, but I always use it after I get my bikini area waxed, and it's great.

what are godd ways to lose weight in the tummy, butt, and thighs/legs? please, no exercise equipment or gym.

You can't spot-lose-weight; you lose weight all over. I would suggest jump roping, yes, it's exercise equipment, but it's amazing. Hula hooping can help trim your waist, and walking up stairs and going for walks/jogs is great. Good luck!

your body uses fat from different parts of your body as your do sports/workout whatever in general and no amount of crunches will ever, by themselves, give you a six pack.
what can happen however is you can do an all around workout or sport and lose fat from all over. while gaining muscle and getting toner, something like that would include.
plenty of cardio
resistance training such as
push ups, squats(these are legs, and butt), bicycle crunches(abs) among other things.
but your best bet would just find some freinds to play something with, or go for a swim a couple times a week or something. of course eating correctly is a must too, you cant get anywere with a bad diet beleive me
